FIELD TRAINING NATURE POSITIVE TOURISM
During the five day field training in Abruzzo National park, Italy, you will be introduced to the current state of wildlife tourism, nature conservation & local rewilding efforts, partnerships, community engagement, nature linked economies and hospitality. The week consists of a range of outdoor classrooms, learning sessions and experiences.
The field training is for participants who have already completed the online training.
If you sign up for the field training, the online training is free of charge.
If you book, you pay a 25% deposit to secure your place for the November 2024 training. Minimum 6, maximum 8 participants.

TRAINERS
The training in Italy will be lead by Simon Collier. Simon has more than 20 years experience in the nature & tourism sector.
Aukje Van Gerven coordinates operations & logistics, and facilitates parts of the training program. She has more than 20 years experience in ecotourism & hospitality.
DATES & PRICES
25th - 29th November 2024
€ 1990,- per person sharing, ex VAT.
Arrival & departure transfer from Rome International Airport, Fiumicino are included in the pricing, as is accommodation, internal transfers and food.
10% of your fee will go towards local nature support & funding for new trainees.
LOCATION
The training program will take place in the Abruzzo National Park, in the Apennine Mountains in Italy just 3 hours from Rome
Trainings will be based in a small yet thriving tourism village as well as a remote mountain refuge with little connectivity.
